Just looking back at my ebay account & ebay charged me both 10% on the final final valuation fee on the initial auction & 10% on the second chance offer I finally sold the item for, the cheeky B'stards, seems like you have to go through the non paying bidder which I innocently assumed they would credit you if you used their second chance offers system...
If you are saying the auction winner didnt pay hence the second chance, you still need to file non paying bidder to get your auction fees back. If you sold two items, one auction one second chance, the fees are correct.
Thanks fooman - I assumed that if you did a second chance offer when highest bidder failed to pay, then a by using the second chance offer would automatically negate the fees, just contacted ebay & I should be getting a credit in next months invoice 🙂
Currently dealing with another classic non paying ebay nut job - apparently he has the name of his cardiac nurse, his dentists appointment record and the report sheet from the AA for why his car broke down so counter my comment of him being a timewaster... nearly 4 weeks since he "won" the auction.
