It ended a few days ago.
Oh, thanks.
🙁
It's worth checking your TV will have the App to watch this, mine doesn't 🙁
If you have the NOW TV App, it's meant to be watchable via that. Anyone know if you'll need to purchase subscription through NOW TV for that to work??
What other devices will Disney+ work on?
Disney+ compatible devices include most Apple devices, including Apple TV, Android phones, tablets and Android TV. Google Chromecast, some smart TVs from LG, Samsung and Sony, Roku devices, PS4 and Xbox One, and desktop browsers.Philips has confirmed its Android-based smart TVs will support Disney Plus, and Amazon has confirmed its Fire TV devices will feature the service too.
The app isn’t released yet in many of those.
An hour left before the £49.99 offer expires if folk do want to subscribe for the year
Anyone know if there's a minimum subscription length if you pay monthly? tempted to binge it for a couple of months and then see if its still worth it after that.
Seems the cash back deal is not available any more :-(. People selling shared accounts on eBay though 🧐
Yes it ended about 2 weeks ago.
I still never received my cash back or pending so an appeal is in.
Still pending for me, something else I bought on the same day is still showing confirmed not payable. Does it normally take a long time to process?
It won't go to confirmed until after the cooling off period.
Anyone else using it on an LG webOS TV? The interface is soooo slow. I push a button the remote and about 5 seconds laterit responds. It's driving the children crazy because the assume that it hasn't reigstered the click and keep pushing buttons. Then it eventually responds and goes off somewhere unintended.
Oddly once it starts streaming though it's absolutely fine.
Also, works absolutely fine on the Fire Stick upstairs.
It’s fine on my LG C7. No lag.

Not even registered so have logged an appeal
So after raising a case, it has now tracked and been added to my account but looks like they're only wanting to pay out £11.60 based on a £38.66 spend rather than £15/£49.99 for some reason.
Same here, £11.60 instead of £15.
Ditto, have queried it with them... first impression of Topcashback is not good...
I’m still waiting to hear about my claim.
Did anyone take a screenshot of the Topcashback site sowing the offer?

Thanks Drac
No problem.
Dropped them another message and amount is now showing as £15.00 and confirmed.
Excellent. Mine has finally been submitted to Disney+ 🤦🏻♂️
Mine showing as confirmed too
Yeah, me as well, no sign of it being actual cash though.
Well 9 months later I’ve got my cashback. 😂🤦🏻♂️
not sure if its been posted before but on many o2 contracts you can have it as a bolt on for free for 6 months.

Me too. First time using Topcashback - somewhat underwhelmed by the experience!
Likewise, takes too long, stuff gets rejected, obviously a habit you need to get into, then I suppose what do you want for free cash?
Is Disney really any good?
I’ve been using a login for a month or so and so far it’s just rubbish

Well if you don't like the content then I guess it's rubbish. Not exactly a surprise what you are going to get on a Disney channel though is it?
I've been surprised how much I have enjoyed it, mainly due to access to the old stuff in gorgeous Dolby Vison, but also much more varied new content than I expected.
Yeah it's been better than expected but then I'd just pay for Mando, kids have used it a lot, things like Hamilton were an unexpected bonus. There is more than pure Disney but if its gritty drama you are after them it's not surprisingly rubbish.
actually there IS a surprising amount of stuff since Disney has been going around making deals/buying up other studios... Fox/FX etc (simpsons & more). Price rise next year to reflect all the extra content there’s going to be.Not exactly a surprise what you are going to get on a Disney channel though is it?
For £25 it was well worth the entire Marvel collection, except spidey, Star Wars collection and Pixar. Then the money shot that was well worth it for £25 The Mandalorian 2 series of Star War fan porn.
Hopefully when I come to cancel they’ll offer a deal.
Star was released today basically it’s adult Disney. Disney owns a lot of stuff so it’s pretty full of choice.
my 12 month subscription is coming to an end... will renew at £60 per year..not too bad..might look out for cashback offers though..
DrP
I cancelled as the kids seem to watch Netflix rather than Disney. No attempt to retain me, just two clicks in your account online and that was it.
quidco was doing £10 cashback last week. The price is going up to £80 a month soon

In a few months but staying the same for current members who renew before then.
I had a brief scan through the content on Star. Looked a bit 'meh'.
Will probably renew @ £60 on the promise of some new Star Wars stuff in the next 12 months but overall Disney+ is by far the least used streaming service we pay for (compared to Netflix and Amazon). We do have Apple+ that we watch even less, but that was a 'free' subscription when we bought a new device (also has the worst UI of any we've used, but I digress).
