Just avoid if you can!

Always good advice where Derby is concerned.

Leaving work from Mackworth side of Derby heading towards Notts at about 6:30pm. Will be 'interesting'. Have what amounts to a shallow river flowing down the country track next to our work...

The queue for Markeaton island tonight began at Burton on Trent - though turning onto the A50/A6 option was strangely traffic free.

Got held up at Uttoxeter at lunchtime on the A50 - couple of people had misjudged the few inches of water approaching the McDs roundabout. The back roads over to Abbots Bromley and Burton were intersting in places.

Our rain gauge had 45mm in it tonight, having been emptied at 7am today.
