[#2389116]

This was fascinating last week, with clips of old brain experiments. Worth a watch if you have an hour to kill.

Watch the first episode and half way through the second, then got distracted by SOA boxset for a bit. Will catch up tonight though.

I love seeing monkeys in isolation wells for a year me.....

If you are interested in that read Norman Doidge - the brain that changes itself. Fascinating story.

Woah, tuned in to the sucking brain through straw part. What happened before that, did the guy leave his brain to medical science while he was still alive or did some hookey surgeon just fancy a slurp of brain juice ? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Owner of brain had an accident as a kid, developed epilepsy. Surgeon had a hunch he knew what might fix it, and it did, except from then on the guy couldn't form any new memories.

That woman hitting herself in the face was brilliant. I do that! Although not to myself...

Great series. You lot must be talking about part 3 which I haven't seen yet, but the others have been smashing (and a bit disturbing).

I wrote an interview with a bloke who had a shrunken hippocampus and caouldn't form memories. Most heartbreaking story I ever did.
