Woke up at 4 and rode up the mountain, but it was too late. Bollocks.

We were told to look right on the plane back from Tromso on the 9th March. pilot claimed Northern Lights were visible. I was on the other side and, although there was a lot of interest and people craning their necks from the aisle, I heard no "oooh!"s or "aaah!"s (or "øøøh!"s or "åååh!"s).

We did see some pretty good lights while we were up there. A mate took this when we saw them on 7th, I think. I love the way the full moon's lit up the cloud in from of the aurora.
