WTF!

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-5940053 9">BBC News - Sweden's first female PM resigns hours after appointment

I assume this is some procedural anomaly but it's a pity some other world leaders wouldn't just f++k off so easily!

Yeah, but if you read the details it's a political powerplay to try and break the coalition.

Anyone seen the Icelandic drama The Minister where the candidate promises he will not lead a coalition and will only be PM if he gets majority vote? Recommend ++

It’s a shame. She is, apparently, a very good politician and would have been a good Prime Minister.

I’m trying to avoid politics for the moment, but holding my thumbs that this does not lead to a Moderaterna/Sverige Demokraterna coalition in power. That would be a bad thing.

I'm constantly watching the sh*tshow of British politics with surprise. I'd expected Swedish politics to kick off in 2022 with the election coming up, looks like we're starting early!

Hopefully this will give us time to get shit sorted out _before_ the election.

Speaking of which, I need to get citizenship sorted before the election. I'd like to be able to vote in this one.
