at the request of mother-in-law i'm making a somewhat retro starter this xmas (don't s****, her other choice was melon balls!).

before i fall back on delia, don't suppose anyone's got a cracking recipe for cocktail sauce?

1 part tomate ketchup to 1 part mayo. Add a dash of Tabasco and a touch of cayen pepper. Done.

Go shop. Buy sauce.

Think that about covers it.

....prawn cocktails may be retro, but they are also delicious!

As above but salad cream, not gayer southern softy mayo.
