Koyaanisqatsi thanks Elfin i've been trying to remember the name of that film for years it's the only film i have ever walked out of.

Really? Any particular reason? I found it utterly mesmerising, simply beautiful.

In fact I think I'll watch it tonight. ๐Ÿ™‚

Interested to hear your onions and thoughts on it though.

Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon

Oceans 11, 12, 13 all at once so that counts.

Lords of the Rings Trilogy, all at once so that counts.

most people i know who loved Koyaanisqatsi were very stoned at the time of watching.

(an observation, not an accusation)

I get it in the I-understand-it sense. I don't get it in the it's-an-unbelievable-movie sense.

Dez, you realise that your three favourite films can't be "all of them", yes?

Asking around a while back, seems like for best results you have to have seen Bladerunner a while back, some of it feels pretty dated now and The Kids are pretty picky about stuff like that. Still love it though.

This is really tricky! A top 5 or 10 would be easier, but it's probably

Betty Blue
Renegade
The Matrix

But there are so many great films in this thread too. I can't decide if Star Wars should replace The Matrix in my list.

because it's not that good. the pacing is slow and the actors are milking it, probably the choice of the director

The Music Box - it doesn't matter how many times I see it I always find I can't breathe for laughing.

Casablanca - if only for the scene when the Germans singing is countered with the Marseilles.

The Usual Suspects - although the film should end as you see as Kevin Spacey's foot straighten out.

And in reserve Tremors
