Just experimented with a few things. Got one pancake, one sort of soggyn biscuit and something a lot like American style cornbread, which just makes me want to eat it hot with lashings of butter.
*pulls up chair*, my wife thinks we need an iDave recipe thread...
We've had one but it lost its way a bit.
I don't know anything about gram flour, but Molgrips gets five Cougar Points for the most gratuitous use of the phrase 'soggy biscuit' in an otherwise serious thread.
We tried to do tortillas with gram flour, turned out like frisbees.
What happens if you try and make frisbees?
I've just bought a couple of kilos of gram flour, so any ideas are welcome here too!
maybe an idave cook book page with a paypal donation button - be a milllionaire this time next year

I've not cracked the farinata bread yet - I think mine was too thick, ended up like crusty chick pea cheese.
What I want is a pitta, chapati or tortilla. Most chapati recipes I see have wheat flour in too.
100g flour, 130-150ml water, salt, chilli powder, cayenne pepper
mix
fridge 10-15mins
fry in olive oil, hot, till lightly brown
om nom nom
only makes about four, and they dont last in our house
This works for me - you could probably bake them after frying to crisp them too

What's going on here then?
