I report boring ones.

I've only ever reported Spam. Oh and the odd blatant footie spoiler 🙂

I report deliberate trolls.

There's been plenty of posts that I find irritating, stupid or offensive. Report them? Nah, life's too short, and there are plenty of things out there in the real world that are far more offensive, and I can't report those.
I have inadvertently hit the report post button on countless occasions; it's just too easy to do on a small touch screen.

I've just reported CZ's post for nearly using a second paragraph. 🙂

Other than spam or blatant advertising, I have only ever reported a couple of people (I think).

I've reported posts that I feel are particularly nasty and offensive (racist, homophobic, sexist etc), that I feel will just cause unnecessary unpleasantness. Oh, and the odd stupid idiot personal insult. Best to keep things civil, rather than have it descend into silliness (beyond that which is normal on here).

And I know for a fact that some of those claiming they never report owt; bullpoo. Loads of people report my posts apparently, for some reason or another.... 😉

Sometimes, it's better to get rid of certain comments as they can provoke loads of trouble. And then the thread just gets even more silly than it needs to be. And people get all wound up and it's not good.

I have only ever reported spam and the one occasion someone complained about Torchwood having a scene showing, in his words, bummers.

That was the only time I have ever been disgusted at a post on here.

You don't debate, you just spout seemingly endless reams of crap, change your story, and rely on incredibly contrived semantics until the other side gets bored, then you claim "victory". Hint: We're not laughing [i]with[/i] you.

Edit: I should make it clear that I don't think it's a bad thing, some of the Elfin threads are great reading and certainly add some colour to the forum 🙂

I report a few. Spam or homophobic ones usually.Sometimes I say so, sometimes, when I think there's no point because there's no chance of sensible discussion, I don't.

oh and I've reported the odd thread to alert the powers that be for simply being the increasingly prevalent negative type that makes this forum less enjoyable/useful/civil. Then its up to them to decide if it should continue.
