Looking for suggestions for parking up with a camper van overnight before catching ferry?
Golden Lion pub in Southwick allow it in their car park. Outside tap & the loo is also in a separate outbuilding so available to use.
They do excellent beers (the landlord is very passionate about that!) and good food & there’s a fair bit of WW2 history to the place.
May need to call them & check if there’s any form of booking needed but I seem to recall it’s more a case of making sure you spend some time & money in the bar...
About 10-15 max min from ferry port, just over Portsdown Hill.
Thanks for that, it looks absolutely perfect, my daughter called him and she said he was lovely. They're now really looking forward to their stopover before heading off to Santander.
...... might even be tempted for us to go down too and wave them off!! 😀
