I think the mismanagement by Margaret Thatcher and her government of the tax receipts from North Sea oil in the 70s and 80s, surely must be right up there.

Again not incompetent, totally intentional and worked out as they planned. Bought some elections and put the money into the hands of industry instead of the people, sorted.

Dominic Raab, I think it was on here I saw him described as “a negotiator so skilled he could walk out of a DFS sale with a full price sofa” which pretty much sums him up.

Apparently known as Raab C Brexit, in certain quarters.
