Are they let out without stabilisers after completing half the course? 🙄

liked this bit

"the course covers issues relating to using a bike on patrol" and "how to use the bike as defence if confronting an offender".

BOMBERS ANYONE?

How come they can ride on pavements, in pedestrian zones and wrong way up a 1 way street and we can't?

cos they're the police and can do what the **** they like, if our local traffic cops are anything to go by.

BigJohn, How would you feel if the villian wot had just robbed your missus, jumped into their Ford Cortina GT, and went down a one way street, but the police weren't able to follow cos they couldnt cycle down it, thus breakin' the law...
Admittedly, they normally do it to get to the front of the queue for Greggs, but its the principle... 🙂

I live in Northampton and while riding my bike once I saw two police officers riding on the pavement I shouted at them to get on the road. One of them just turned and said "you must be mad to cycle on that road" 🙂
