it doesn't have a reputation for being massively painful AFAIK but they can all hurt a bit

How long ago did you get it?
What's the injection site like - swollen, very red, hard lump, discharge/weeping or anything and is the pain "superficial" rather than feeling really deep down in your muscle/joint ?

Did they inject you pretty much bang on the expected spot and are you perhaps a notably big or little unit (wondering if they possibly missed the optimal site - or even just were a bit rougher than normal jabbing you)

If it's really painful I'd get a pro to look it over

Oh, and you're a lucky man - stuff is currently unavailable nationally (my hospital's currently rationing it for very high risk patients, like "leaky" head trauma 'n'shit)

Medium unit no pain at injection, it got uncomfortable the day after, no redness or swelling, running a bit hot and a few shivers. Its very tender

you sure they didn't sneak a COVID vaccine in ? That's supposedly smarts a bit !

(from what you've said, tempting to say "suck it up" but only you can say if it really doesn't seem right. Assume you can move the shoulder & arm OK ?)

Would just reiterate:
If it’s really painful I’d get a pro to look it over
a vaccine won't normally give you a really high temp or lots of shivers so again, get looked over if that hasn't settled or if you start to feel worse (even overnight if you're very worried). They don't give out bravery badges to grown-ups
(oh, and IANAD)

Not for me or the 14 others I witnessed having it today (one a 97 year old lady; our area's first victim sucess story) . Bit of a scratch on the way in, nothing on the way out.

If its still crap tomorrow will give the GP a shout.

@RobHilton is the sticker permanent or does it peel off 🤔

The sticker is just to tell you the "Bill Gates" chip has been injected.

I had similar, back in September. The flu jab was fine, and the pneumonia jab itself was okay . . . until the following day, when the injection site turned into a hard red lump (5cm x 8cm). It gradually faded, but was still noticeable three weeks later. Not exactly painful, but definitely uncomfortable to lie on.

Oh, and I was unwell for several days afterwards, with mild flu symptoms. I really hope the pneumonia jab caused this reaction, as it's a one-off, rather than an annual injection. I've not had any problems with the flu jab before.

I had it along with the flu jab then went on a 25m ride without any problems. Next day I was smarting a bit and it lasted about a week.

I'm going to wait until the new year.

I was reading about the vaccine and it is recommended for welders because of the fumes, they can apparently cause pneumonia.

I love science (not great at it mind you).
