so, it's a bungalow so all on the same floor, I'm supplying the radiators, all you need to do is drain the system down, alter pipework as the new one's are more efficient so smaller, refill the system, test and done .. how much?

Just wondering as I've had a quote?

Thanks

probably worth a flush too.
Whos supplying TRVs and lockshields?

Im no plumber (just a DIY bodger) but Id guess it could be done in a day if pressed. £300-400 including flushing. But if something got tricky, it might run into a second day...

too many variables.. but flooring type> whats it covered with? whose lifting the floor covering, whose moving furniture? what size rads are they a two man lift? vented or unvented system, plastic or copper piping 8 ,10 or 15mm? what are the walls made of..

either way a day should polish it off so a couple of hundred plus materials should get it done.. bells and whistles flush etc double that and two days..

Ah, ok more details. Mostly wood floor as we've taken out all the carpets apart from 2 bedrooms that have carpet, 15mm copper pipe. TRVs already on existing rads only a year old maybe, might need lockshields, large single rads so might need 2 to lift, no furniture to move, brick walls. Just had a new combi boiler too.

You're both a lot cheaper than I've been quoted so I'll give you the work 🙂

Oh, I'm in the south east, so everyone thinks we have pots of money in our sheds that we don't know what to do with! .. To be honest I think we get ripped off in the south east, I know very few people that are on the so called average income yet we get charged like we're all on £100k a year 😯
