So on Tuesday my boiler started leaking, as you do tried to get plumber out........"I'll try to get out to you in the next few days.........earliest will be next week....."

I tell them i can see where its leaking, its the heat exchanger

Various replies form well thats a minimum of £180 for the part plus labour to I'll need to take a look to make sure befor i can do anything......

Now I'm a small business owner and all for supporting small business but after these I googled

Heat exchanger £60 delivered this morning fitted myself 8 screws and 2 spring clips and £40 for some new system maintainer!

I can take a bit of a mark up but 3x the price and then labour is pushing it IMHO

Not sure what this post is about. Something broke (things do), you fixed it (well done). Where is the woe?
