[#1903684]

I'd like to stay somewhere niceish with the GF on saturday night after a family do in Hull and then go for a nice ride on Sunday in the Peak.
I've never really been to that part of the world so any bike friendly B&B and hotel recommendations along with places to ride/see would be great. Thanks 🙂

Ladybower Inn is a good choice and you can ride from the door, food is good too.

don't stay at the rambler in Edale. Overpriced for the rooms you get.

Ladybower Inn looks good, possibly a bit far from the M1 but I'll check it more thoroughly.

Thanks Pook

From the M1 you're 25 mins to the Ladybower with good traffic. Well worth it

Tracey - i think we saw you on that ride; group of lads coming down Hagg Farm. We held the gate open as you were going up. I may be wrong.

My parents have a B&B in Dronfield, just East of the Peak District and 10 miles from the M1.
Unfortunately it's not open for business just yet...

+1 norfolk arms - great riding straight from the door, and easy to get to.

All those places were booked! Thanks for all your help though guys.

In the end we stayed at the loadbrook cottages and it was fantastic! Plushest B&B rooms I have ever stayed in, MASSIVE bathroom, yummy breakfast and a secure bike store. I would recommend it again.

Did the ladybower lite from Jon Barton's book. I thought it was great, just at the limit of my girlfriend's capabilities, but enough to keep me interested
