I'm in my thirties, held my licence for over 15 years, not had an accident in about ten years, just looking for a 2005 Atra estate 1.7D.
However, I've always been a named driver, or pool car driver, not had insurance of my own for a car before. Any ideas where to look for a good quote other than the usual online comparison jobbies?

Elephant seem to be good for that sort of thing, plus they do a 10-month policy that gives you 1 year ncb. It does actually work out about 5/6ths the cost of a full 12 month policy as well, rather than just charging you for a full 12 month policy but giving you 1 year ncb after 10 months.
