Visit to the docs yesterday, found a lump under the arch on my foot. Been a bit of a worrying wait between the booking the appointment and going.
Docs seemed to think it's Plantar fibromatosis, got sent for scans to confirm.
Anyone got it, Dr Google would have me in agony walking with a stick so stopped asking it 🙂
Just hope to hell I can still ride my bike.

From the brief and terrifying Dr Google earlier it's same area, different thing.
Docs did ask if I'd noticed any strain first, one thought is it's a strain or damage that grows back badly so the plantar ends up lumpy.

Good luck, it stopped me running for 9 months. Got rid of it with a brace at night, a golf ball and stretching.
