Going away at the end of this week looking for somewhere to stay on route to the south of france.
Anyone got and ideas on places which are nice to stay for one night?
Has to be suitable for kids, good(ish) food, something to explore nearby.
Any thoughts??
We've stayed here a couple of times (once on a stopover, but it was so good we went back for a week).

Lovely grounds for kids to play in & the couple that run it will do you a full traditional French evening meal, accompanied by 3 different types of Calvodos which the owner makes from apples in his orchard.
Breakfast is to be lingered over too.... I can still smell the fresh coffee and homemade apple cake!
