With the exception of Slough, I believe that not every place can be wholly bad to visit.

I have. The airport, whilst bad in itself, provides another means of escape that Slough lacks.

Yosemite Valley just to see El Capitan, saw it in photos 30 years ago and hope to get there before I peg out.

Always wanted to visit the Great Wall, for some reason never got around to it and its kind of nearby.
