I need one of these in my life.

I was amazed at macaroni pies up in scotland over the summer, this is one more innit.

I worked in Rossendale for a couple of years.

they told me about "pie in soup" but I didn't believe them

not until I saw one anyway.

a bowl of soup (heinz tomato IIRC) with a warm pork pie dropped in like a depth charge 😯

Look up the meat pie floater, it's an Aus delicacy too.

The true path is, in fact, the pie roll:

ie. a Scotch pie in a morning roll, preferably both supplied by Thomas Auld & Sons of Greenock.

For bonus marks accompanied by one of their fudge doughnuts:

I don't get home often enough, on reflection. I can't get proper morning rolls, pies or indeed fudge doughnuts in England.
