[Closed] Physiotherapist types - is a Theragun G2 (massage gun) worthwhile, or similar?

[#10416315]

Saw a review on a Theragun G2Pro which was pretty positive. I have chronic back and shoulder injuries for last 10+ years and benefit massively from deep tissue massages, plus lots of stretching/exercises.

Could or would something like this be significantly helpful. Obviously pretty pricey but in the long term, could be great if it's effective.

And/or is there a better alternative? (I foam roller everyday which is a pretty cost effective one!)

I think I've seen the same device advertised elsewhere... as a vibrating butt plug 🤭

I can't see a machine out doing a decent massage such as Swedish deep tissue, tbh.

They are meant to be really good, but perhaps look at the diy option of a worx reciprocating saw, a lacrosse ball and some epoxy resin, there are loads of youtube videos on how to make them.
