A lovely ride out in a very dry and dusty Epping Forest today:

Slightly marred by hundreds of cars/people in High Beech car park which has been re-opened. I skirted through that PDQ 🙁

No longer one a day but still rode local. Daughter went to Wharncliffe for the first time since lockdown. She has had the biggest grin I've seen for the last eight weeks

Today was some riding some jumping.

Not the best video taking by my lad, but I cleared the jump

Awesome fun.

Busy day on two wheels today.

A local loop early on, on't Rocket, then a nice little spin on the motorcycle in the afternoon. First time in about 2 months. Lots of bikers about.

Put the summer wheels on and pooped out for some sprint intervals...

...didn't realise I was being spied on just in case 😀

Weather was glorious, lovely to feel the whoosh of carbons wheels at a decent speed with your arms out.

We had a lovely ride out in the sunshine yesterday. Stopped at a lock for picnic lunch and got roped in to opening the gates to let a boat through. My daughter loved it.

@cinnamongirl Thanks. They were all taken on the phone and no fancy work afterwards on the computer. The skies are usually a matter of luck.

Took the commuter bike for a spin round the lanes, ended up in Caerphilly by this pond I'd forgotten existed:

20200518-173718
how to reduce my breast size at home
Also forgot I'd modified the gearing to suit my pretty much flat commute, having a lowest gear of 38/28 hurt up pretty much every hill!

Edit: the title postimage gave that, what the actual... 🤣

Why is the priest still hanging about? Doesn't he know they've demolished his church and turned it into a shopping precinct?

I went for a very gentle spin along the canal and found a quiet spot to watch a heron and have a beer

Took the trail bike out to check I'd fixed the rear brake, success! It no longer pumps up when warm. Took a different route to the hills I found last week, never knew there was a Glamorgan Canal in Cardiff, right below the M4. Amazingly tranquil with a lot of birds and other wildlife milling around.

First proper Mtb ride since lockdown as have to drive (though been out on the road/turbo most days). Surrey Hills on a weekday evening in the sun, far from the maddening crowds of a weekend.

Went to the far corner of my local moor to check out a vaguely promising track I'd spotted on Google Earth. Turned out to be 80% pushing!

I often wonder what she gets up to when we are not at home.

She knows she can't get on the furniture in the house but never had the chance outside

She's clearly learned that pose from someone.

New bike arrived last wee; think I bought the last available one in my size on the planet - third ride on it this afternoon after flipping the bars for the early 90's totally horizontal flat bar look.
