As i normally get all the help i need from friendly STWer's i thought i'd put this equest on here too.
I have a family wedding in October this year and they need a photographer. As there are usually some stunning photos put on here i thought that some of you are probably in the photography business and would be interested in some work
So if you are interested get in touch with some examples of work etc
Wilf Baines Photography, he's based in ST Helens but covers most of Merseyside area. Did my sisters wedding 18 years ago, my wedding 16 years ago, my bro in law 3 years ago, best of all is that he is a cyclist (sometimes) of the darkside variety.

Tale behind my wedding photos was that back then he was still a film user, and when we went to see the proofs he looked sick - really awful. Turned out that there had been a processing problem (outsourced) which meant that the colour intensity was a lot less than it should be - bearing in mind that we got wed at the end of March on a really cold & dull late winter day (the bridesmaids got frostnip) and he had been flogging himself (almost literally) over the problem. Made it up to us with a free large framed canvas print of our choice and IIRC he allowed us to select more pics for the album than we'd paid for.

absolute top guy - know him from t'internet photo stuff and he did a friends wedding on my recommendation - they were very chuffed with the photos and him - would choose him for our wedding if me and Mrs Doc did choose to get hitched.
think he also rides as well...oh and if you do speak to him, tell him Andy Brooks sent you (not that he does mates rates, just so he sends some karma back my way!!)
You could try my friend from school, the stuff she does is pretty good.

I can recommend him personally, very professional and his work is outstanding without a take the *** price. He is not based in the north, but works nationally.
