I'm using "Photobucket" at the mo'. Any Flickr users here? How long does Flickr take to upload your photos?
Photobucket takes ages, I could do with a quicker service. 😥
Flickr uploads almost instantaneously.
upload is largaly determined by your upload speed from home to the net rather than the host. ime. I use photobucket and am on a 10Meg fibreoptic link and it's pretty fast.
Flickr is very quick, as I was downloading some photos last night the wife was on another computer looking at them befoer I had finished, was only a few photos as well. Flickr downloader is a nice little thing as well, sort everything out and then press one button.
I find Photobucket pretty fast. Faster than Picasa anyway. But Picasa is a bit nicer.
Yup, upload depends on your end not theirs unless they're well and truly overrun with users. I use flickr and sometimes it's slow, but generally fairly pleasing despite uploading 6mb files.
