Mrs D is keen on one of those new fangled Smartphones things. Could anyone give advice on just how useable 500MB Data allowance is per month. For example if she goes on facebook & access various websites.Presume if she downloads anything it will eat up the allowance quickly? Sorry but I only use my phone to speak to people!

500Mb is fine unless you're watching a lot of online video (i.e. iplayer) or streaming quite a lot of music,

As above, I use my phone quite a lot (like now for example), I rarely use more than 150mb of my 500mb. when at home it automatically connects through wifi though.

On my old iPhone 3G I averages 400mb/month for 18 months. Youtube, some music downloads, email, a few apps etc. The same sort of useage on my new I4 had me up around 1.4gb 3 months on the trot now and I have not the foggiest reason why..... ๐Ÿ˜•
