First of all, I'd like to thank you for your apology for your comment which I found insulting and upsetting. I appreciate you for apologising, and respect you for having the good grace to do so on here, a public forum. I will emphasise that I don't think you're in any way genuinely prejudiced or bigoted, I am sure your comments were ultimately meant in jest, yet simply ill-judged and inappropriate, nothing more.
Secondly, I'd like to apologise for any comments I made which you found offensive and upsetting. I was wrong to try to wind you up, and accept the fact I handled the situation in the wrong way.
We all make mistakes sometimes.
I hope we can now draw a line under this unfortunate incident, and put any hostility behind us. I look forward meeting you on future rides.
