Gf and I are driving to Geneva this summer for a bit of riding in the Alps. What are the petrol prices like in France?

much the same as they are here at the moment.

Diesel is between 96c and 108c.
Petrol (UL 96 RON) looked like 125c to 135c
98 RON was a bit more expensive.

€1.1:£1

makes that about 98p
and £1.22

so not enough difference to get worked up about.

obviously it varies a lot by where you buy it (supermarket, on a toll road etc) but here is something that might be useful:

(see page 2, still unbelievably cheap in the states!)

Bruneep, if we used google all the time then there would probably be no Forum. Its nice to hear peoples personal experience or advice.

Around here it's about 20c more expensive than in Spain so about 1-1.1 Euro's!

Still makes me wonder when I see people filling up at petrol station in France about 30-seconds from the border!
