If one has a pet tiger does this make house insurance cheaper due to the decreased risk of burglary or more expensive due to the increased risk of damage to people/property? Are tigers classified in a different insurance group to lions and pumas or is there a generic one for all big cats?

Silly, pets don't generally have to be declared

What you need is a big python to eat trespassing cats...

More expensive as you need third party liability insurance for a pet tiger.
