Browsing the Peaks on google last night and I came across these.

Some simply awesome photographs. Yes the help of filters etc but still. Its such a beautiful place isn't it?

sorry mate, not my type of thing, but I'm a lover of conceptual art, so that'll put me in the tiniest of minorities on here!

There's a show of 'invisible art' on at the Hayward Gallery ATM, some good stuff! I would have loved to have seen a landscape photograph of the peaks included.

Imagine an invisible artwork titled 'Peaks landscape photograph', accompanied by a soundtrack of the intermittent clicking of a hope hub, get the picture?

I'll get my coat...

Which are the best brake pads for Peak District 'invisible art'? I'm thinking invisible ones. I had a look round, but I couldn't see any.

Nice pics but the Peak district is just a bit dull isn't it. Doesn't really have the charm or character of the Yorkshire Dales or Lake District, or the majesty of the highlands of Scotland.

Pleasant but a bit nondescript.

Nice pics but the Peak district is just too beautiful isn't it. Doesn't really have the boggy open windswept moorland of the Yorkshire Dales or pisswet through bare scree-scape of the Lake District, or somewhere that you could be in the Alps in the same travelling time.

FTFY

:O the peaks are mega... I'll hear nothing bad said against them. Defo better than the Yorkshire dales that's for sure.

A few crap camera phone pics from the last month or two... it's not the lakes, but it's better than the dales that's for sure.
