Hello
Is there any free or reasonable (and safe) evening parking (for friday nights) near to Reading town centre at all?
I know about the NCP and Oracle centre parking and wondered if there is anything more suitable?
Don't mind walking for 15 mins.

Folk often park on The Warren, just below St Peter's church. I pass this every day and have never seen a car abused. 10-15 mins stroll to town from there.

yeah, its quite quiet and posh around there (The Warren).
Just park next to a nicer car than yours.

Be prepared to walk very quick if you plan to get to the centre in 10-15 mins. More like 20-25.
