I don't use meters much but keep a few pound coins in the car. They seem to be getting shorter in supply and I'm always getting 2s in change. Would be easiest to start keeping these in the car instead, I guess.
in general, do machines tend to take 2s ?

It's £0.60 an hour round these parts, and none of the machine's give change so I am not going to start stuffing a £2 coin in them!
