Mrs M and I plan to do some walking in the Peaks next weekend, prior to collecting a daughter from Sheffield. We'll be sleeping in the campervan.
Can anyone recommend a nice quiet parking spot to bunk for the night? we could use a campsite of course, but usually don't. We hardly know the area at all.

get an ordnance survey map and check out the little roads. to be honest i reckon most camp sites will be fairly quiet if the weather stays as it is.
don't forget being in between sheffield and manchester there are the odd 'parking' spots.......
