Anybody able to point me toward a very good seamstress or business in north west area (co Durham) to repair a torn membrane jacket please?
Not interested in diy.
If you've no luck locally these guys do a lot of business by post. I used to live near their factory and they are well regarded.

Burnley based Lancashire sports repair.
Lancashire Sports Repair (LSR) is great, send off your jacket and they will post back. They replaced a zip on mine and you couldn't tell it wasn't original.
Another vote for Scottish Mountain Gear if you can't find anything local. They did a cracking job on a Wingnut pack for me a while back.
Alpkit can do repairs. They have a shop in Gateshead.
