as will need to leave a motorhome with 2 bikes on it for a week (Crinan basin) was wondering if anybody near had a bit of parking space/knew about any secure parking optons etc
will be checking with Lochgilphead site, as have stayed there before and will be staying as part of the holiday
depending on time of year the folks at the Crinan boatyard may be able to accommodate you - secure and undercover. If you are leaving the motorhome unoccupied why not put the bikes in it rather than on it ?
Put the bikes inside, ask at the campsite. But if they don't have a gate...is it any safer? Park near the polis station as you come in if you are really worried. There is hard standing for boats but these will be full in winter. Anywhere in the busy part of town?
And tell everyone on the internet to keep an eye out... 😉
