If you are following someone famous on Twitter and they say something you find interesting and reply do they:
1) Think you are a sad no life loser?
2) Immediately call the police and set the dogs on you for harrassment?
3) Genuinely appreciate it and ask you to be friends and come round for tea and cake?
4) Something else?

You probably get lost in the noise of everyone else doing the same thing, TBH. I wouldn't worry about it.
Some "celebs" reply to / retweet people, so they're clearly not sitting there bemoaning their lot that the peons dare to message them.
