Slightly off topic i'll admit but, could someone recommend me some easy summits near Briancon in France? My girlfriend and I are both happy on grade 1 scrambles in the UK and have a rock climbing background (don't want to have to take a rope tho).
Ideally looking for a good day out on something relatively tall and pointy!

Fingerless leather gloves are a good buy as well, some of the steps can be quite rough if they're old.
