Does anyone have a good place to buy organic food that’s pretty cheap?
I’m having to order from two or three different places at the moment and would ideally like all from the same place to help deliveries etc.
Looking for fruit, veg, meat and fish.
Cheers!
It depends on where you are. The big nationwide delivery places are rarely the cheapest (so much marketing spend).
I used to go to a place in Manchester called organic2000 and they were lots cheaper (although very seasonal like most).
There may be something similar in your area.
I'm based in glasgow. Would love to find a local place, there is bound to be a good few locally. I'm new to all of this so dont know where yet!
Have you tried the fruit market on blochairn road?
No I haven’t. I’ll check it out cheers

So you're going to deep fry it anyway, then why bother with organic? 😉
We are in Edinburgh and getting most of ours via the farmers market in leith or veg box from phantassie farm in east lothian, but they have a stall at the farmers market too. The veg box feels like better value than from the market. Meat we are getting from a farmer we found through the farmers market and initially bough there but now just order online in bulk and collect at the stall. but we have also had it couriered It's tremendous value. Also eggs, which come over from glasgow IIRC
There are stalls there that come from the Glasgow area so I assume do markets in Glasgow too. There should be a calendar of markets through the year somewhere on line
kormoran - where/when is the FM? we have one in Dunfermline but TBH its a bit crap.

It's in Leith next to the customs house (just up from Tisos) or at the top of princess street gardens under the castle. Both are every saturday.
There's one in Stockbridge too, on a sunday. The other two are better though
