There’s some people hear with lifetime Grey I’ve never heard of.   Did you have to buy that, there was a promo a few years ago IIRC?

Green = regular ‘free’ members.
Blue cyan = digital.
Red = digi + print.
Silver grey = lifetime.

Well, I'm green and a full member...so that doesn't seem right. Perhaps it's just random?

I feel like I'm participating in some psychological experiment - I NEED TO KNOW WHAT THE COLOURS MEAN! :p

I was green yesterday, filled in some of the mince in the Profile and was still green. Arrived this morning and I appear to be the blue/turquoise/cyan colour now.

Not overly fussed about it but the comment about being part of a bigger thing sounds ominous/interesting...:-)

Its Singletrack so it will be about monetising the forum. Or something.
Maybe they had special paints mixed in three colours plus grey by Farrow & Ball and we have to paint our doors in the colour we've been allocated.
Then if we upload our locations to an online map with the appropriate coloured dot we get a Georges Seurat style image of a Specialized e-Bike superimposed on the UK.

Change is bad

Change is change. Without context we cannot judge if it's good or bad.

we fear change

We seek to understand random, weird unexplained change to an internet chat forum by, somewhat unsurprisingly, chatting about it on the forum.

the sky is falling

Chicken Licken was making assumptions based on a single piece of information without any additional context. At least we've asked questions in a futile attempt to gain additional context. All we've had are cryptic responses or more assumptions.

why hasn’t the feature I wanted been implemented yet instead?

I thought we feared change, yet we're demanding more of it?

This is making my brain itch.

For the benefit of the select couple of arses making sarky comments, this is a part of a bigger change.

Hey, Perchy, he means us! Does that make us Big Hitters?

Probably not, but does that mean they are trying to you both? Is adding colour to the forum going to do that? If so, I'm going with ominous rather than interesting for now...

First they took those with a green badge but I did nothing. Then…

I was all up for the little P to see who was contributing but this is getting slightly sinister

Have we done the data sharing notification every time the main part of the forum is visited then? Excellent. Good to see the new hamsters are getting stretched.

I was just thinking that what this forum needs is more division.

Can see those developers on their Zoom meeting, pics of Tomac on the wall behind them. So what do we need to make the forum better? What about that really useful thing where you could hover the mouse and see who the last poster was? or that other useful thing where you could reliably click to the last post?
Nah, sod that COLOURED BLOBS! is whats needed!

while the forum geeks are looking in is there any way the site could scroll a couple of lines less than a full page when you hit the space bar rather than 'just' a bit more than a page please? ta.

a) Only if you're Binners

b) Edukator thinks so, yes 😉

c) TJ says he's right.

It'll be scrolling a full page... but part of that is obscured by the sticky header. It's a developer thing, not his browser. Don't know the fix... as I'd hide the sticky header when scrolling a full page.
