You can get the following anagrams from tory/lab

Gordon Brown: Bro don' wrong
David Cameron: Random advice

but nothing for Clegg.

So on that premise, Nick wins.

LOL. Kyle not Stewart next time!

Good job they are wearing ties to match their parties. I wouldn't know who was left, middle and right otherwise!

Cameron thinks he's won it already. Arrogant arse.

Clegg is massively benefitting from this. I thought this would be scripted hot air, and it is, but at least Clegg is being specific about a few things. Brown and Cameron are just too generic.

For me the most irritating person at the moment is Alistair Stewart...

He's done one too many 'Police Stop' programs for me to take him seriously any more.

I'm getting bored. Anyone fancy a game of Modern Warfare?

Not that I have a short attention span or anything.

cameron was spit roasted over funding and electoral reform, when he really should have been able to turn that back on brown

Seems like this one was Cameron's to lose and he's rising to the challenge.

Brown is doing surprisingly well ..... Body language wise. Seems the most relaxed. Crazy how decisions are made on this, bit they are.

Not bad although the audience must feel like a fart in a spacesuit. Tories and Labour are indivisible, Lib Dem are the only ones who have a different vision.

Edit: this debate is all too presidential for my liking though.

Stewart really is making all three of them look good. He is an idiot!

Paxman must be sat at home turning purple with rage.

This is what happens when you give serious political debate to ITV. Surprised it hasn't been sponsored by Talk Talk or Iceland!

I really hope Clegg gets positives from this performance. He's doing really well. Best performance of the three for me.

oh well done, Gordon. That Nimrod refuelling disaster was an urgent op request. It should have been funded in 2002

Bring Paxman in.

It's meant to be the public asking the questions, not Paxman asking the same question over and over again.

I actually feel sorry for brown. They're just taking the piss out of him now.

It would be a great opportunity for a small group in the audience to play 'bullshit bingo' with the winning team shouting their victory!

😀

At least Paxman would get them to answer a question, instead of just trying to pass it off to one of the others. Why do we need nuclear weapons anyway, what are they planning to do, kill everyone?

Enough about the terrorist threat in the Middle East. It's Iceland we should be afraid of.

They crippled our banking system and refused to pay us back and now they have brought our air traffic system to a halt with their bloody volcanoes. The Taliban and Al Qaida never managed either of those things! And don't even start on their crappy frozen party food!

And yes, DC does have an incredibly punchable face.

My verdict:

GB - not come out of this glowing, but not bad either. Probably neutral for him.
DC - Absolute own goal. All he can do is moan and complain. What's he actually going to do about any of this?
NC - The biggest benefactor. Refreshing, talks sense, talks specifics.

Think I might actually have decided to change my vote after this. How fickle am I?!

There must be a way to combine political debate with the Hole in the Wall gameshow format. In fact, I demand that it be settled in such a manner.

You get the impression dave isn't exactly used to the normal debating style found outside the childrens playground of the house of commons. He seems to need some booing to be happy
