[Closed] One lightweight windproof jacket to rule them all

I want one jacket. 1. Super thin and light, so I can layer underneath it for warmth. 2. Windproof definitely, but the waterproof bit is not critical. Splash, mud, wind, drizzleproof. But for pissing it down I'll wear something else (and probably not go out because well...) 3. Want to be able to throw it in a cool wash without worrying too much. 4. Packable. Packs down into a small pack for a bumbag. Recommendations really welcome. Thanks

Thanks for all of your advices. I went in the end for a Paramo Fuera smock. Second hand, ebay (good as new) and exactly what I wanted. There was a comment on this thread that said a windproof (and showerproof- as opposed to full waterproof) jacket is what we'll use more than anything to MTB in the UK and I think thats right. thanks all.

I have one of the Paramo Fuera smocks, had it for a few years now and its a great bit of kit imo.
