ooooops wrong forum Fixed, Mod.
1. Write purposefully bilious vitriol
2. Let the outraged retweet/email the story
3. Watch the page hits shoot up
4. Profit
I think mozilla need to start preloading firefox with tea and kittens.
Where else can we learn about Jodie Marsh's latest tat?

A lot of its traffic must be (I hope) 'rubber-neckers' like me, going there from links on places like here on threads like 'Have you seen the comments on story x in the DM??!!' And then you get sucked in by the story about a celebrity accidentally revealing half a nipple whilst on holiday... ๐ณ
And then you get sucked in by the story about a celebrity accidentally revealing half a nipple whilst on holiday !!
Come on DezB, you know you do too ๐
I love the fact that the Graunidad doesn't put up its own results - why could that be ?
4. Profit
Most funny - at best slightly lower losses than normal.

Why should it?
half a nipple
WHERE?!
The editor sums it up nicely "We just do news that people want to read."
Sad indictment on the rest of us. Mail makes the Sun look like a cuddly thing.
Wife loves it, I've had the odd peek.
OP's or my fault that I went onto the DM website to read about/see footage of "kung-fu keeper"?
Wasn't worth it! I want my 3 minutes back!

What fool would do such a thing? ๐ณ
Come on DezB, you know you do too
Nah, I go to [s]nippleslip.com[/s] fakewebsite.com! for my fix
Who's "Jodie Marsh"?
The mail website is more like TMZ or Perezhilton style celebrity gossip site than an actual news site.
Who's "Jodie Marsh"?
Also, what is this Google thing I keep hearing about?
fml
The mail website is [s]more like TMZ or Perezhilton style celebrity gossip site than an actual news site[/s] waaaaay more profitable and far wider read than the Grauniad's self righteous twaddle, and that's what's really upsetting some people.
FTFY! ๐ฟ
waaaaay more profitable and far wider read
That's all the persuasion I need right there. Where can I read this paragon of virtue?
Vinnyeh - that would be really funny if the Guardian hadn't recently been found to have made up stories about a dead girl's phone.
According to the Leveson enquiry, the police revealed that there was a high probability that texts messages had been deleted by the NOTW investigators. However, the message deletion that gave the family hope that Milly Dowler was still alive, was more likely than not an automatic system deletion. The fact that it was the NOTW listening to said messages that may have trigged the auto-deletion is also a possibility.
There is a difference from inaccurate reporting based on facts not available at the time of printing a story, partly due to the bang up job the police were doing at the time and not releasing the phone log information until compelled by the Leveson inquiry, and writing a wilfully misleading article.
What is truly disturbing about the DM I that it is very successfully aimed at women, which means that women must crave being told their ovaries are shrivelling, they're too fat, too wrinkly, too promiscuous, that their children will become delinquents if they work or are single mums. Surely reading the DM must be a form of self-hate? Or perhaps the sense of schadenfreude at other people's misfortune is the appeal?
When it comes to UK newspapers, this always comes to my mind.....

Minister, Newspapers
I must admit that I leave my political views at the door and regularly read the Mail app as it always has great photos

And because no women read The Graunidad they're spared the fate of turninging into a patchouli scented Germanine Greer, which basically amounts to the same thing, just with organic soap.
you read something for the photos...no the jokes to make are just to easy.
Surely a large part is just folk reading stuff linked that is ridicolous rather than actually reading it
