Planet-X are out of my favourite Thicky Merino socks until November!

I wear them all the time, not just for biking.
My current stock are all developing big heel holes.
Anyone know any good alternatives for a similarly keen price?
What do you wear to protect your delicate little tootsies?
Costco ones are pretty epic (if you're a member)
Woolie boolies are twice the price, but will last way, way longer than the on one merinos.
Keen footwear, have lasted me about 4 years! I was sponsored by them and got about 15 pairs of various types which I've worn on rotation since. Funnily I've just got some from current sponsor Castelli and they are nice.
Look on eBay for Ulvang socks, there's often a fella selling 4 pairs for a tenner (or something like that). They're apparently seconds, but I've never found a fault in them.
These, in fact:
I'll add that my entire sock collection is Planet-X merino thickies (so same as On-One) and the Ulvang ones from eBay. Even thought they're 'seconds', the Ulvangs are probably better quality than the Planet-X ones (which are still pretty good)
Just ordered some of these Ulvang things, will have to see what arrives !
