I played for the same pre county home club as Jack Russell (Stroud CC) till I was 15 as WK. He used to coach me a bit, I liked the way he repaired his own gloves. That reminds me, he put on a match for the new pavilion named after his brother who passed away. As club lads we were allowed in the changing room, Bob Taylor talked to me for ages while Courtney Walsh and Malcom Marshal strode about without a stitch on!

Brine M1, snapped it 3 seasons ago having a mess about.

I had an adidas shell suit . It had a big purple flash across the front and stripes over the shoulders. I though it was shit hot. Which was somewhat ironic given their fire hazard status.
