Six pack of Victoria Bitter, in a cupboard. Expiry date July 2007. Now in fridge. If I drink them, will I die?

Experiences, advice, suggestions to MTFU all welcome.

Is it in bottles? If so check the crown cork when you open as they can go rusty. Probably won't taste very nice but anything made by Fosters can claim that.

You will die, and it will be a miserable death. VB is gash

Adam_G asked this last year. His was likewise an undistinguished mass-produced lager. He didn't die at once IIRC, but he's not around these days, so maybe he died later.

A fresh six pack of VB costs about the same as a packet of Imodium. Take your pick......

Beer really doesn't keep that long
I'm sure it won't hurt you but it'll be stale I would have thought

It certainly won't taste any worse than fresh Fosters

Heh - sounds like good news. I'm going to chill it so it's so cold I can't taste it. Maybe that way I won't taste the death until it's too late. Will report back once I get the nerve to drink the sixpack.
