Mains/rechargeable, using a Philishave ATM (3 rotary blades) but the battery's ****ed & not holding charge.
I can get away with shaving every other day & don't need one that works in the shower.
So waddya reckon between a rotary & a foil? I've seen that Argos are doing money off stuff but not sure how they compare to other places.
Thanks!
PS, budget of £60.
No idea how they compare but I've had a Braun rechargeable for 20 years or so. The thing just goes on working. It can be used wet but I've never bothered.
I got one like this off ebay, £16
it does the job better than i thought it would, previously had remington (broke just after 6 months) and had philips but the blades needed replacing. i use it a few times a week and had it for 3 months
Or open it up and put in some new batteries

Looks like a 'sealed unit' to me. Can you give me a quote for doing it?
My phillishave has a round metal screw at the bottom, I undid that and the back came off. If I remember right there were NIMH AA cells in a carrier. I didn't actually change them as I was repairing the switch but it looked like they were dead easy to change.
The limit of my experience is what I did on mine, but as it is also a phillips 3 blade rotary I thought there was a fair chance yours might be as easy. Youv'e got **** all to lose.

Have been using mine for a couple of months now - very happy.
Electric razor? Are you mad? Don't you know?

Yes I saw that thread thanks. No use to me though, I have far too many things to be getting on with without having to fanny around shaving with that. I like to shave while I'm sitting on the bog & reading for a start.
Anymore reccomendations for leccy ones?
Simple solution, don't shave. Coming up to Decembeard dontcha know!

You don't shave anyway!
Naa, if I go without shaving for 4 days I just look totally scruffier than normal.
You shave, shit and read at the same time? Why not take your breakfast in with you and save some more time?I like to shave while I'm sitting on the bog & reading
