I've had that before there, it's all fine until they decide they want a mouthful of Schwalbe's finest! Was memorably chased/encouraged up a climb there by a family of them a while back when on a night ride, properly scary at 3am when all you can hear is their hooves and their snorts just over each shoulder.

They’re very inquisitive creatures, especially when young. I think this is one of last years brood that has got stuck up on the side of town.
I’ve often has tiny humbugs follow me on the trails like I’m some kind of porcine pied piper.

Oddly, it's pretty much one of the last things you want to encounter in the wild in Australia 🙂 They can be properly dangerous - especially if it's a protective mother.
They make an amazing noise, but I’ve only seen them running away.

Usually horses that take a chomp on the tyre, he looked like he was happier with a scratch.
We are lucky enough to live on the edge of an enclosure which is fairly densely populated by the (no so) little buggers. We have a plum tree out the front that they enjoy helping themselves to most nights 😆
Do see quite a few out when riding, although they do create havoc with the trails, coming down a section, to find a corner no longer exists due to some boar excavation is part of the fun I guess?

Yeah, I was surrounded by a big group on the Verderers a few years ago. They weren't even vaguely nervous of me. I was a little worried in case there was any sort of territorial aggression but they were fine and wandered off after a few minutes.
There's some forest south of Munich that is full of them.
Dangerous when the babies are around.
Taste good, mind (mate of ours is a hunter, but says it's like shooting fish in a barrel there are so many!)
