At 1am last night I received a full refund for fuel I bought in Calais on the 4th June and I can't for the life of me figure out why.
Is anyone able to shed some light on this?
Sounds a bit strange. Sometimes self-service fuel stations charge you €150 (the maximum you can fill up with) and then refund the difference of what you actually took if you're paying by debit card.
I've had that before but don't think it's that, I can see the amount I was originally charged is the same I have been refunded.
Check you weren't double charged?
Can only see one original charge on my banking app
If you live in Kent it's probably cheaper to sail across and use that station again whenever you need to fill up
