doing a little digging about getting an Irish passport, basically it is cheaper than a UK one at present. What the future charges may be is anyones guess.
Anyhow looks like i need to get hold of a copy of my dads birth certificate, easier said than done. Does anyone know what i need to know and who i need to contact to get an official copy, at this moment all i know is birthday and that it was near Ennis.

Ask anybody in the area, everybody seems to be everybody else's cousin. Or ask the local priest, he'll tell you many a secret 🙂
